ArtDeco1 Art Deco #1
$4,500.00
This piece is the beginning of a new series of art quilts based on the art deco design. This first piece is 27"x30" and is densely hand quilted. The art deco design is carried out to the edges of the piece from the center design. Hand quilting alone carries on the design. A very tactile piece that everyone wants to touch and feel. The backing is traditional unbleached muslin and is signed and dated by the artist.

AutumnCharm Autumn Charm
$650.00
This quilt is made from 91 different fabrics pre 1995. It is only 15 1/2 inches wide x 24 1/4 inches long. Each piece is 1" wide by 2 1/2" long and not 2 pieces of fabric are the same. The fabrics chosen give you the feeling of fall maple leaves and all the brilliant colors of autumn. The piece is hand quilted around each individual piece and in the grey leaf border, a garland of leaves has been hand quilted. The backing is traditional unbleached muslin. It is signed and dated by the artist.

BlueAngel Blue Angel Art Quilt
$5,500.00
This is the fifth in a series of quilts featuring hand cross stitched center medallion panels. The quilt top is hand quilted by the quilt artist. The blue angel has been cross stitched by hand by an expert needleworker. The fine, hand quilting was done by the quilting artist to complement the overall design of the piece. The yellow triangles and black frame draws your attention to the blue Angel and the blue borders draw out more of the colors in her dress. A muted Oriental print is incorporated between the gold flecked blue fabric. The quilting stitches are heirloom-quality and greatly enhance the overall design of the piece. This is finely detailed hand quilting that is only achieved after years of practice. The hand quilting design in the burgundy and black swirled border gives this piece it’s finishing touch. The final border looks like piled satin. This is truly a piece of art that will grace your walls for years to come. The back of the wall hanging is covered traditionally, with unbleached muslin and is signed and dated by the quilter. Hanging sleeves and corners are already sewed on the back for ease of display. All fabrics in the wall hanging are 100% cotton. The batting used is polyester.

ButterfliesintheDark Butterflies in the Dark
$5,700.00
This piece features as it's centerpiece, a delicately hand cross stitched image of butterflies and dragonflies flirting in foliage. The center is framed with black fabric and a warm yellow fabric radiates out from the piece in a diamond pattern. The piece is then completed with repeating diagonal frames of light green and then a cream fabric with Oriental writing. The piece is heavily hand quilted and in the final black border with "ghost" butterflies densely echo quilted in varying colors to coordinate with the colors in the center. The back of the piece is unbleached muslin. The piece is hand quilted and hand bound.

ChoirofAngelsTapestry Choir of Angels
$13,000.00
This is the first in a series of quilts using this block. The entire quilt is made from one block with each block individually designed to create the overall design. The quilt is set on point with setting triangles to make the quilt square. The block used in this quilt, Wyoming Valley, is from the 1930’s Chicago Tribune column, Nancy Cabot. The block has 65 individual pieces consisting of squares and triangles. A total of 2,665 pieces are in the main body of the quilt. Placement of the 6 different colors affected the change in the design of each block. The focus fabric is the Angel Tapestry fabric used in the center of each block. The hand quilting done over the entire quilt top in a grid design. The finishing quilting was documented at over 350 hours, which comprised 1/3 of the quilt top. The backing of the quilt is traditional, unbleached muslin and is signed and dated by the artist.

EagleWings Eagle Wings
$4,100.00
This piece has a hand cross stitched center medallion of an eagle landing on a branch. It is framed with a cotton textile that looks like leather. Eagle feathers are hand quilted into the small brown borders. A profile of an eagle head is hand quilted in the outer border along with echoing arcs. Cloud formations are echo quilted in the 4 corners as well. The entire piece is hand quilted, hand cross stitched and hand bound.

FiestaPinwheel Fiesta Pinwheels
$1,900.00
I saw pinwheels that I used to play with as a child as I was making the quilt. Others who see the quilt on display tell me they see a River Eddy that makes potholes in the bedrock of the river. This wall art has the same fabrics as Royal Pinwheel but has a much different appearance. This is more relaxed feeling like when a canoe paddle makes an eddy as you are paddling down a quiet river. The quilt is made of 100% cotton fabrics including the Bali fabric which is the purples and pinks. The hand quilting in the border is reminiscent of Art Deco design. Hand quilting has been done around each pinwheel to bring out the shape. The wallhanging was all hand quilted and the binding was sewn by hand. The backing is traditional unbleached muslin. It is signed and dated by the artist.

FloralCrosswordPuzzle Floral Crossword Puzzle
$5,600.00
This is a wonderful quilt celebrating the art of gardening as well as crossword puzzles. This is the first in this series of Theme Crossword Puzzle quilts. The black squares are a tone on tone black print with light gray roses. In the center of each black square is handquilted a 4 pedal flower. Flower names are handquilted in the white squares which are a tone on tone tiny leaf pattern. The floral border is handquilted in a crosshatch pattern that really adds texture to this piece. The backing is traditional, non-bleached muslin, signed and dated by the artist.

FracturedGello1 Fractured 'Gello #1
$3,400.00
First in new series Fractured 'Gello. Can be displayed in either a vertical or horizontal format. The size is 33.5" x 37.5". This piece is based on the traditional Bargello quilt pattern. It is hand quilted in a small geometric form that changes as you go across the piece. The direction changes are very evident in the outer area.

HummingbirdintheGarden Hummingbirds in Flowers
$2,400.00
The back of the wall hanging is covered traditionally, with unbleached muslin and is signed and dated by the quilter. The quilting stitches are heirloom-quality and greatly enhance the overall design of the piece. The hand quilting of the hummingbird silhouettes in the black border gives this piece its finishing touch. The hand quilting was done to complement the hummingbirds in the cross stitched center panel. A wonderful floral patterned fabric as well as a muted Oriental print is incorporated around the hummingbirds giving the illusion that they are suspended in an Oriental flower garden. This is the second quilt in a series of quilts utilizing a hand cross stitched panel as the center medallion.

CoffeeTime Isn't It Coffee Time?
$1,300.00
This wall art piece was designed as a challenge where one piece of fabric 18x18” (the brown marbled fabric) was selected I decided to design a piece no larger than 30”x30” using this fabric along with any others to create a unique piece that reflected the theme of “Coffee Time”. I thought about all the mornings of sitting over a cup of coffee, watching the swans and loons on the lake outside the window starting their morning routine as I prepared for another day of work. The ritual of hunching over that first cup of coffee and looking down into the cup as the coffee swirled after having stirred in the cream and sugar is represented by the swirl echo quilted inside the cup. Of course time plays a part in all of this as well – never enough time to just sit back and enjoy life, so a subdued image of a clock was quilted inside the coffee cup as well. The cup and coffee are hand appliquéd to the background. The quilting stitches are in an overall grid design and gives this piece a finished look of being set on a tablecloth.

PurpleAngel Purple Angel
$3,200.00
This is the first in a series of quilts featuring hand cross stitched center medallion panels. The fine, hand quilting was designed to complement the angel in the center panel. A purple frame draws your attention to the Angel and the light purple borders draw out more of the colors in her dress. A muted Oriental print is incorporated into the background. The quilting stitches greatly enhance the overall design of the piece. The hand quilting of the 4 angels and chain design in the black border gives this piece it’s finishing touches. The back of the wall hanging is covered traditionally, with unbleached muslin and is signed and dated by the quilter.

RoyalPinwheel Royal Pinwheels
$1,400.00
Naming pieces can be difficult. I saw pinwheels that I used to play with as a child as I was making the quilt. Others who see the quilt on display tell me they see a River Eddy that makes potholes in the bedrock of the river. Four fabrics were used to make this piece of art that has sparkle from the white background fabric as well as the black/gold fabric which adds a touch of elegance. The hand quilting stitches enhance the overall design of the piece. The hand quilting in the 2 borders gives this piece a unique, subdued finish. The quilt is also hand bound. The back of the wall hanging is covered traditionally, with unbleached muslin and is signed and dated by the quilter.

Scribble1DreamWeaver Scribble #1 (Dream Weaver)
$3,900.00
This piece is the first in my new abstract series entitled: Scribble. This piece is constructed using commercial fabrics and handmade bias tape. The piece is hand appliqued and heavily hand quilted. This piece is designed to be able to hang in any orientation. See the detail shot of the back of the piece. 2 hanging slats are provided with the piece so the collector can display it either horizontally or vertically.

SerenityTree Serenity Tree
$1,700.00
In the center is a “Serenity” tree that is the place where we all can go for solace and peace during the troubled times of our life. The fabric in the tree top is a reproduction fabric from the William Morris Collection (1834-1896). It is heavily echo quilted. Framing the tree is a white border representing the “fence” that keeps the atmosphere around the tree peaceful. Interlocking leaves are quilted in the white border. The next 2 borders are asymmetrical and represent the influences in our lives. The red is for the anger we experience sometimes in our life. The black for the dark periods we may experience. Two opposing corners have pinwheels that represent the out of control feelings we have sometimes have, and the other 2 corners are the rigid “black and white” views that we encounter. The goal of the Serenity Tree wall hanging is to have you focus on leaving the bad influences outside of yourself and go into the peaceful, quiet, serene garden and sit under your Serenity Tree and rejuvenate your soul.

StainedGlassMosaic1 Stained Glass Mosaic #1
$1,000.00
This is the first completed quilt in my new series, Mosaics. This quilt has 66 different fabrics, none of them repeated, in this compact quilt. The center of the quilt has a stained glass affect produced by the bias tape separating each piece of fabric. The quilt is hand quilted in a spiral design starting in each of the 4 corners and in the center of the quilt. The spirals spill out into the grey "explosion" background. The fabrics are 100% cotton, polyester batting and traditional unbleached muslin for the backing. Signed and dated by the artist.

StainedGlassMosaic4 Stained Glass Mosaic #4
$750.00
This is the 4th quilt in an ongoing series exploring the use of bias tape and freeform design. The black leading is hand made bias tape made by the artist and hand appliqued to the Venetian Glass fabric. The piece is hand quilted in 1/8" echo quilting. The piece is hand bound, signed and dated by the artist.

TwirlingLeaves1 Twirling Leaves #1
$1,600.00
This piece is constructed in the same way as the Royal Pinwheel and Fiesta Pinwheel wall art pieces except only 2 fabrics were used. The geometric form created by each section of the pinwheel is the overall hand quilted pattern.
